Breaking New Horizons: Russia-Africa Summit on Russian Soil, United for a Vibrant Future, Ahead of Time Before the Upcoming BRICS Summit
In a grand display of global solidarity and partnership, on July 27, 2023, in St Petersburg, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov welcomed an illustrious gathering of 31 African foreign ministers to the second Russia-Africa Summit and Economic and Humanitarian Forum. In his impassioned opening address, Mr. Lavrov underlined the significance of the summit, hailing it as a landmark opportunity to identify and prioritize critical areas of cooperation.
