My Dad warned me this was coming in 1992. He escaped communist Hungary at age 13 40 years earlier. He also said Donald Trump would be the best president ever, and could save the US but, even if he ever got elected, they would never allow him to succeed, because it would take all their power away, and there would steal it back if they had to.
