Piers Morgan vs Bassem Youssef Round 2 | Two-Hour Special Interview
By Piers Morgan Uncensored
After last week’s groundbreaking interview on the Israel-Hamas war, Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef returns to Piers Morgan Uncensored – this time face-to-face with Piers Morgan to further discuss the conflict happening in the Middle East.
In this intimate and frank interview Bassem opens up about finding fame overnight, getting arrested, receiving death threats and much, much more.
Here’s what others had to say:
As a Palestenian, I have no words to describe my gratitude to Mr Bassem, and to Mr Piers for inviting him and airing this show again. Bassem has simplified our life struggles in 2 hours that we face every day every moment in our life ..and we will face it because no one know the really truth except for those who live and experienced all of it because of this black media…but finally I live for this time when I have seen the truth published widely and the western people read our thoughts and opinions.
This 2hr interview felt like 30 mins. Absolutely lovely! I use to get a bit edgy every time Bassem made a brilliant point and Piers attempts to counter it with some ridiculous statement but then I realized Bassem’s main aim isn’t Piers alone, it’s also the people listening that have brains and minds to process and make sense of things.
Nevertheless, I thinks Piers did conduct himself in a decent manner and is beginning to see things clearer from a different perspective.
As an Egyptian, we are very proud of you Dr.bassem and you made us understand that ” it’s not necessary to be a doctor to save lives” you already still doing it now thank you so much I hope that people will become more aware of the truth in order to influence those in power.
When you realize that speaking logically is no longer logical, and that you have to find new way to let the world know what is really happening, the gentleman has done it brilliantly.
Grateful for this vital discussion. It’s uncommon to witness such empathy and insight in discussions about this conflict. Wishing everyone takes a moment for this. Astonishing how quickly two hours passed; it seemed like mere minutes.
this interview was so powerful, educational and emotional. whatever you think about Piers, this interview charmed me. And Youssef is amazing and so smart, his arguments were spot on. he explained a lot through sarcasm. Kudos
A huge shout out to Bassem . Loads of respect for him on his previous as well as this interview. There were so many ironic moments where Piers refused to be logical or to sound sensible yet Bassem remains composed and eloquent. I am a huge fan.
The entire Humanity is indebted to you for this powerful, educational and emotional interview. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.
I not only enjoyed listening to this interview, but I also learned about history, courage, enthusiasm, life-changing decisions, politics, and humor. Well done, both Piers Morgan and Bassem Youssef. I understood from this interview that : We, as Muslims, are not against Jews, and we did not perpetrate the Holocaust. Arabian Jews lived in the Middle East and held positions as ministers, actors, and managers, integrating into Muslim society. Meanwhile, anti-Semitism developed in the West. We believe that Israel is occupying Palestinian land, and Palestine belongs to Palestinians, regardless of their religion or beliefs. Palestinians have the right to defend their land. Arabian Jews are welcome to stay in Palestine or other Arabian countries, but non-Arabian Jews are not encouraged to remain in the Middle East.
What an amazing interview. This is a historical masterpiece in the world of media. Piers and Bassem you are reshaping world view on this conflict and pushing the standard of conflict resolution to the next level. You are the solution to the mess created by the politicians.
Piers since you’re so hung up on putting the responsibility of this situation on Ha*as shoulders, I would like to say that it is at the same time sad and Ironic that the violence perpetuated by Ha*as is condemnable, yet it took an “Oct. 7” for the world to finally wake up to the truth about the plight of the Palestinian people and the atrocities being committed by Israel on them on a daily basis for over 7 decades. The world has a problem with Ha*as’ existance because of it’s islamist ideology, otherwise it would be considered a resistance group like any other (except for Israel of course, because any resistance group or mouvement, whether armed or pacifist, would always be considered as terrorist because it constitutes an obstacle in executing its zionist agenda). As much as the loss of civilian lives on Oct 7 is deplorable, I’m sure we all agree that sadly no revolution or liberation ever took place in the history of humanity without bloodshed and loss of innocent lives.
This is the sad reality behind any liberation movement. Without armed resistance no population can rise and win against oppression simply because no oppressing power would ever willingly and peacefully give away its power. Unless you have other solutions to offer?
8 millions in 2 days……Masterclass interview…Masmerizing….will be in our mind forever…..One of the best interview in the world…Dr. Bassem Youssef is just BRILLIANT…
Humour, humanity, intelligence, compassion, standing for justice, humbleness. I wish we had more people like Bassam standing against Hypocrisy.
This is a very decent interview that media outlets nowadays lack. An interview should always work as a guideline that leaves plenty of space and inspiration for the viewers to find out the truth themselves.
