Truthcoin switches from Cardano Network to Tron Network.
Truthcoin which successfully listed on Mid Tier Exchange, Azbits at $0.20 cents on July 30,had planned to use the Cardano network for its crypto currency. But announced recently, and updated its Whitepaper, that it has decided to go ahead with the Tron Network instead.It’s believed this was for 2 reasons.
1. Many exchanges don’t accept Cardano,as its much more costly to set up
2. Tron is better suited for digital content creators to use to be rewarded, which suits the use that Truthcoin will also have, as it’s partnered with TruthGroup to be a currency used for its social media platforms and online Global Independent News Networks.
A spokesperson said this has required a new wallet to be created, an interim one that’s available at www.truthcoin.social.
A mass marketed wallet launches soon as an additional version.
It said the users that were issued a interim wallet before the listing will need to re download the new wallet that’s based on the Tron network, not the Cardano one, to receive their coins.
All users including Bitcoin 2.0 holders who qualify for Truthcoin will be issued wallets and coins over the next few months, a company spokesperson said.

What is Tron?

Upon this acquisition, in August 2018, BitTorrent Founder Bram Cohen also disclosed that he was leaving the company to found Chia, an alternative to bitcoin created to be a less energy-intensive cryptocurrency
