I’m not one to make my self vulnerable like this but I’m so sick of staying quite when it’s something that’s very real and happening to me at the moment. As I have made it very clear I was against the vaccine and did not want it! It came down to getting the vaccine or losing the job I absolutely love, so I put my trust in science as we are being encouraged to do. I received my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine last Friday, I now have Bell’s palsy affecting the whole right side of my face due to a really rare side affect of the vaccine, 3 days in hospital sent away time after time being told I had a “headache” how scary? I then had a doctor who was truthful with me and told me what was actually happening to me. Luckily enough over time there is a high chance of my face returning to normal. I am absolutely disgusted that these side affects caused by this vaccine are being kept so quite, I have never felt so alone and so scared having to go through this with absolutely no support, being sent away by medical professionals time after time. I can’t eat or drink properly & it’s painful, my sight is affected and it’s just very overwhelming. I absolutely respect people’s decision to get the vaccine. But this is my experience and I will not stay quite about what’s happened to me in fear of what others opinions are. A huge Thankyou to my beautiful friends and family that have gone above and beyond to support me.

Your employer is legally bound to pay for any treatments or time off work due to a vaccine that you took sole-ly to keep your job.
I’m sure there’s conditions about it but it was passed in February. Coincidence?
