Pay Cuts REVOKED for Queensland Teacher

By Reignite Democracy Australia

The following from Freedom Has A Voice.

In a win for common sense and basic human rights, a Queensland teacher has had the degrading pay cuts (for unvaccinated education workers) REVOKED.

This principled Queensland teacher introduced herself to me at the Brisbane protest rally on 17 September. She thanked me for my speech at the teachers protest outside QLD parliament on 31 August and outlined her successful appeal against the outrageous ‘disciplinary action’ by the Department of Education.

I have confirmed she is happy for me to share the articulate letter she submitted to the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC). In her letter, she responded to each of the claims made by Anne Crowley, Assistant Director General, Human Resources, Department of Education. She also submitted a Form 89.

She informed me that she received an email from the Department of Education REVOKING the ‘disciplinary action’ against her and requesting she withdraw her complaint against the Department.

While this is an important win for this courageous teacher (and is hopefully a precedent for all education workers being unfairly humiliated through these pay cuts), it does nothing to restore justice in relation to the segregation and stripping of income, career, and livelihood that occurred in the first six months of 2022 as a result of the unconscionable mandates.

We have endured, over the past two and a half years, the biggest assault on individual freedom and Christian conscience in our nation’s history. The way forward for governments and corporations is repentance, restitution, compensation, investigation, and justice.
