I Don’t Know If There’s Any Other Country That Suffers From Tall Poppy Syndrome Quite Like Australia Does

I don’t know if there’s any other country that suffers from tall poppy syndrome quite like Australia does.
There is something unique about the people here that relish and delight in the downfall of others from their own country.
It’s one thing to be somewhat glad to see bad people humbled and brought to justice.
It’s one thing to see someone with a really huge ego be brought back down to earth.
But the desire to see good and decent people fall is a huge reason why this country is in such a big mess and why so few people are willing to speak out.
It’s just like when all the crabs are stuck in a bucket,
and the moment one is about to climb up and get out…
The others will drag it back in there…
So they are all stuck in the same impossible problem.
Nothing paints the reality of this more than the current situation, a situation whereby all the antivaxxers are currently being well and truly vindicated.
We were right.
We were right about everything for the last 3 1/2 years.
We refused to take a backward step,
no matter what the cost.
And now that it’s common knowledge that the injections were not safe,
were not effective,
and we’re not even necessary…
There are millions of people who are bitter at us for being right!
They had gambled on us being wrong.
And gambled on us getting sick and dying.
And they gambled on us being the ones that were going to spread the boogie man and kill grandma.
They thought they had some sort of moral high ground.
And now they are begrudgingly being forced to realise that we possessed a different level of insight and discernment,
that they clearly didn’t have.
They changed their profile pictures
and pontificated while collecting their burgers and fries and doughnuts…
Those empty little carrots were dangled as vax incentives.
And now…
Now, upon realising that we were right,
it seems many of them hate us even more than before.
Maybe they don’t hate the perpetrators so much because they have some kind of common ground with those who orchestrated the shit show.
Maybe the people who took the agenda,
hook line, and sinker are now trauma bonded to those who have tried to destroy their lives.
It’s kind of like a dysfunctional relationship,
that neither party wants to walk away from.
This is why you won’t get many people, if any,
ringing you up and apologising for throwing you under the bus during the pandemic.
You just won’t.
They don’t hate the slave masters,
because they are still clinging to the promise of safety that they offered in the first place.
And those who value safety over freedom, are always destined to lose both.
And we whom value freedom above all things,
know that freedom is not free,
and were willing to lose absolutely everything to protect it.
We have certain qualities that they don’t.
We have a level of discernment that they despise.
You won’t get any apologies.
In fact,
you should probably expect more resentment than ever before.
It’s like there are two breeds or species of humans on the planet right now…
There’s wheat and there are the tares.
And after 3 1/2 years of shit show,
although I wish I was wrong…
it would really seem that we are not the same.
Matthew 13:24-30
Another parable He put forth to them, saying:
“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;
but while men slept,
his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.
But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.
So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field?
How then does it have tares?’
He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’
But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest,
and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,
“First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them,
but gather the wheat into my barn.”
