Not really unbelievable. Considering he was procuring children for the royal family, politicians, senior police & judiciary (among others) – nobody wanted to deal with it because they were too scared! This f***ing P.O.S. had so many high-up contacts, the lower down cops were too scared of losing their job, or worse!

Love your work Shaun, but it would be better without the “dramatic” voice. (just a bit of constructive criticism) 🙂
It’s well-known he was procuring children for the royal family, politicians, senior police & judiciary (among others). That’s why he got away with his behaviour because the cops that took the reports of abuse were too scared of losing their jobs, or worse.
They would’ve been “warned off” investigating by their superiors, (just like Jon Wedger was) because Savile was being protected by the higher up police & judiciary.
