Media FREAKS OUT at Sound of Freedom Success

Sound of Freedom hit No. 2 Spot at the box office over the weekend, despite attracting a massive amount of controversy. The crowd-funded movie is purported to be based on a true story but has been linked to conspiracy theorists. But is the pushback from the establishment due to its content or to its success and threat that its business model poses to Hollywood?

The fact Disney acquired this film in the acquisition of Fox, didn’t release it under any of their media companies, and the film makers had to buy the rights back and release it themselves tells me everything I need to know about Disney.

I live in a UK village. Today I was sat at a table near the sports field and the mums were talking about The Sound of Freedom Movie, praising it for highlighting the horrific trafficking and how bizarrely its being attacked by the media and ‘establishment’. If that’s happening where I am…..its clear this movie has enormous reach and its message is being heard.

Saw the movie, late on a Tuesday night 10:30 PM and the theater still managed to be half full. The movie is powerful, but I felt no indication that this was a promotion from the right, or conservative, or Republicans or Christians. This is a Human story that should concern us all. Most people were very teary-eyed at the emotional impact and there was a resounding applause at Jim Caviezel’s message at the end of the movie, something I don’t see too often for movies in the theater. Highly recommend if you haven’t seen it yet.

Just wanted to say thank you, Russell, for posting issues like this that show the complete MADNESS of our world we are currently in. The fact that this movie is based on a true story and the media is trying to disillusion the facts is… MADNESS!! I watched CNN today, and I can’t believe… actually, I can… how horrible they cover this movie. We are definitely in a biblical time frame where right is wrong and wrong is right! As a Vetetan, I’m totally sickened by the media and how Hollywood Oprah is acting about this movie. Along with the new Jason Aldean song… Just MADNESS!

I took my oldest son to see this because he will be a father in a few years. I saw how the movie moguls had tried to bury this. I have been aware of the problem of child trafficking for a while and i want people to be aware of this. Also I admired the way Angel Studios crowd funded the money to get it in theaters made me want to support it.

I’m Canadian and I saw the film for all of the reasons you articulate. It’s a great film, on several levels, of an issue that needs our attention.

The movie made me angry to know how many sick people we walk among side by side each day. I’m one guy and can’t even imagine how Tim Ballard did what he did. He is a real life superman in my books and my new hero for life. I pray this movie creates awareness and helps keep more children safe.

This film exposes how prevalent child trafficking really is in the world AND this makes a lot of people (many in high places) nervous that they will be exposed. Wonderful film… my entire family went to see it and we can’t say enough about how great it is! A must see…

Russell is truly one of the most honest, sincere, genuine, authentic and empathetic voices out there in today’s world. I really respect his objectivity! Voices like his are rare and we should really appreciate his willingness to be fair and neutral.

Child trafficking is so, so much more prevalent than any of us know. When you step out your door and look around your neighborhood, no matter the economics, you do not know what is going on under the roofs you are looking at.
It’s horrific and the scale of it completely blows my mind.
I have not seen this movie yet, but I will. God bless each person bringing light.

Need more brave people like Russel and other new age media to promote the Sound of Freedom around the globe. Given that even channels like the “Critical Drinker” recommends watching it over the trash the Disney produces on a yearly basis! Sounds like a Movie, I will have to watch even if the content is horrible and will give me alot of negative emotions. Well done gentlemen on shocking Hollywood and Western media outlets!
