‘Perfect Storm’ to Hit Housing Prices in Australia

Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says housing prices are set to boom over the next two years in Australia.
“If you’ve got a shortage of housing being built right now the seeds are being sown for the next property boom,” he told Sky News Australia.
“You’ve got the reserve bank either at peak interest rate or pretty close, you’ve also got lots of population coming into the country, you’ve got rents rising and you’ve also got no housing being built.

“So, if you think about a … perfect storm for another big boom in property prices over the course of the next two years or so you pretty much got it right there”.
