However, Raffensperger’s office secretly recorded the call and later lied about it when they leaked it to The Washington Post, a far-left publication.
After being caught lying to the American public, The Washington Post revealed that SOS official Jordan Fuchs was their anonymous source for the misleading story. Fuchs provided a fraudulent quote from Trump, which was published in an anti-Trump hit piece on January 9th. This story gained widespread attention and was likely planned to cause maximum damage to President Trump before his second impeachment trial in the US Senate.
Further revelations came to light when Georgia Chairman of the Republican Party, David Shafer, exposed that Raffensperger and Fuchs had lied to The Washington Post about Trump demanding that they “find the fraud.” Additionally, it was discovered that Raffensperger’s office had deleted the audio file of the call, but it was later found in the laptop’s “trash” folder.
These actions by Raffensperger and Fuchs raised serious concerns about their integrity and credibility. Fuchs had previously run Raffensperger’s campaign for Secretary of State, further highlighting the questionable nature of their behavior. Activists in Georgia criticized Raffensperger, Fuchs, and the entire Secretary of State’s office for their lack of cooperation during investigations into the controversial 2020 presidential election in the state.
In February 2021, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis initiated an investigation into President Trump based on his call to Raffensperger, which had been leaked and misrepresented to The Washington Post. This investigation was solely based on a lie propagated by Fuchs and Raffensperger.
Recently, Brad Raffensperger was ordered to testify before the court in a case involving Mark Meadows, who was President Trump’s Chief of Staff. Democrats are seemingly hoping that this lawsuit, based on false allegations, will result in severe consequences for Meadows and Trump.
The actions of Raffensperger throughout this entire ordeal indicate that he is willingly serving as a tool for the radical left. They are utilizing him in an attempt to imprison Donald Trump. Today, Raffensperger is testifying against Mark Meadows for a non-crime, further affirming his alignment with the radical left’s agenda.
The revelations surrounding Raffensperger, Fuchs, and The Washington Post’s manipulation of the Trump-Raffensperger phone call demonstrate a concerning lack of journalistic integrity and political maneuvering. The attempt to mislead the public and target former President Trump with baseless accusations undermines the trust in our democratic processes.
