Noticed Canadian port workers on strike that help import/process sugar for Rogers. The conditions of the strike may seem unrealistic (?) and induced from the top down (?). Rogers asking workers, for example, to be open 24/7.

Notice that there seems to be a media blackout on Rogers refinery/port strike. You only hear stories about sugar strike like the workers don’t exist.

That said, is it more likely that the deep state within India has not only frozen exports of rice, but are moving into other commodities like sugar? Could it be more likely they have paid off Rogers to ensure our Canadian ports would go on strike, and thus drawing attention to port/worker conditions, rather than dealing with direct trade disputes with Ottawa?

Is the deep state in India also be behind the increased extortion of Indian-Canadian businessman? This includes arson and ballistic hits. Edmonton, Toronto, and many other police forces in Canada are currently dealing with this. Is this because the deep state in India is trying to repatriotize what it claims to be their wealth before the borders are closed in the future with more trade wars?

Will this be an ongoing trend with BRICS nations? And for that matter the more informal Shangai Cooperative Organization of nations? Will nations find ways to payoff CEO’s of food producers to do things like induce strikes and other mayhem, as a way to avoid diplomacy & trade wars between nations covertly?

Guessing the police don’t even know, and have few powers to even begin to investigate. In either case, one could only hope that sovereign interests are not blind to such possibilities and will treat such matters diplomatically like they could be real threats, whether or not they can be proven to be real or not. Police investigators should also not be blind, that even if foreign police cooperate – they may only do so on the surface for appearances as trade wars continue to erupt between vested interests globally.

Inflation and shortages are a real thing, and they will likely continue to get worse.

The other question that should be asked, is what has Canada done to piss India off? We know they don’t like Trudeau…

There is no sugar shortage in the USA. However there is a sugar shortage globally.

India may be the worlds largest sugar producer, and they have limited there sugar exports from 11 million tons to 6 million tons. yet, yields of sugar for the 2023 seasons dipped only 8% by some sources. With that in mind, is it merely a convenience for India that there is a strike at Rogers in Canada?

Thailand may be the worlds 3rd largest producers is down by 20% due to drought.

Brazil may be the worlds 2nd largest exporter of sugar, depending on you source, and is down from 41 million metric tons to 32MMT due to “logistical issues.”

Meanwhile Indian-Canadians might find themsleves with increased security woes and a change of diet from their native foods, as trade wars continue….

Canada produce 1.4 MMT of sugar annualy that is non-subsidized unlike in the USA.

It says here Canada consumes 1,358 tons of raw sugar each year. I’m guessing this is in Million tons for units. worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/sugar-consumption-by-country

1 MMT is 1,000,000 tons of sugar.

So if I’m right, Canada barely produces enough sugar for its own domestic needs. However it mostly exports its sugar (1.4MMT) in value added products not directly related to the raw commodity that we consume (1.348 MMT). This is my assumption, should I be correct from my readings. I’m no expert.

Hence “any” shortage of exported sugar would disrupt our local businesses and pantries, as most of our sugar is not put on our shelves for raw use. My assumption/conclusion only.

sound convoluted? I’m just trying to read what is being hidden behind so much language … Not saying i’m right. They don’t make a clear case that’s easy to interpret.

A lot of people may dismiss the importance of sugar. However even if you are a healthy prepper, you likely can (pressure can or water bath) goods, and a lot of recipes require sugar. Homebrewing is also the most efficient way to store callories and arguably one of the healthiest & cheapest ways to consume alchohol. So this would be a major hit on preppers.

If you think alcohol is bad for you, read this book:

Basics like tomato wine which is the easiest for home preppers, is extremely easy to make, and extremely healthy.
It lasts in your stocks indefinitely too. Its like a spicey chardoney, bread and butter wine.

Most herbs are made in tinctures too…. think about it! it all requries sugar…
