The question remains: Is Omar Alghabra, the Member of Parliament for Mississauga Centre, still a supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah, despite the recent massacre of innocent civilians in Israel? This vital question goes unanswered, as the mainstream media seems unwilling to ask it. Alghabra, also known as “the Hobgoblin”, has never returned phone calls or emails from Rebel News, so they took the initiative to visit his constituency office in person.
Upon arriving at the office, it appeared that Alghabra or someone from his team was present, but they refused to answer the locked door. Undeterred, Rebel News used a speaker next to the door to ask their questions. These included asking whether Alghabra still condemns people and organizations who label Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist groups, despite the fact that both are officially designated as such by the Canadian government. They also questioned why Alghabra criticized a Toronto Police chief for participating in a walk supporting Israel, and whether he still holds disappointment that sharia law has not been implemented in Ontario. Finally, they asked whether Alghabra could be considered a closet Islamist based on his track record.
Unfortunately, Rebel News received no response to their inquiries. However, as they left the office tower, they were met with three Peel Regional Police cruisers, one of which was driven by a supervisor. It turns out that Alghabra’s team had called the police on Rebel News. The alleged crime? Asking impolite questions. While the police officer who spoke with Rebel News asked them to leave, no arrests were made. Yet, the fact that a journalist can be targeted for questioning an MP’s support for terrorist organizations while the MP himself remains untouched speaks volumes about the state of Canada’s democracy.
This incident highlights the disturbing state of affairs in Canada in 2023. A member of Parliament openly supports terrorist organizations, yet the media turns a blind eye, and journalists who dare to question this behavior are treated as criminals. It begs the question: Is this still the Canada we know and love?
The current situation in Israel adds urgency to the need for answers from Alghabra. The recent massacre of innocent civilians by Hamas demands accountability. Yet, the lack of transparency and silence from Alghabra only raises more questions about his true allegiances and motivations.
It is crucial that the mainstream media and the Canadian public demand answers from Alghabra. Supporting terrorist organizations is not only morally wrong, but it undermines the safety and security of all Canadians. It is a matter of national interest to know whether an elected representative holds such dangerous beliefs.
In the Canada we once knew, transparency and accountability were fundamental principles of democracy. It is time for Canadians to reclaim these values and hold their elected officials responsible for their actions and affiliations. The silence must be broken, and the truth must be revealed. Canadians deserve to know where their elected representatives stand on issues of national security and terrorism. The massacre in Israel should serve as a wake-up call, pushing us to demand answers and maintain the integrity of our great dominion.
