According to Flores, the suspect, who was encountered near McAllen, Texas, fought against the agent until backup arrived. She pleaded for prayers for the men and women in uniform who face such violence on a regular basis.
In addition to the photo of the injured Border Patrol agent, Flores also shared a disturbing image of a bloodied illegal immigrant who had been labeled “a rat” by the cartels. The image showed a marking etched onto the individual’s forehead, allegedly done by a Mexican drug cartel. Flores made headlines in 2022 when she flipped a seat that Republicans hadn’t controlled in over a hundred years.
