The discussion stems from a letter sent by Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) last Wednesday, revealing that the FBI had received ‘criminal information’ from over 40 confidential human sources on Joe, Hunter, and James Biden dating back to Joe Biden’s time as Vice President.
Grassley’s letter, which was obtained by Fox News, detailed how the task force in the Washington Field Office had shut down the reporting from these sources, effectively halting any investigative activity. The letter also raised concerns about potential political bias within the Justice Department and FBI, and called for transparency and accountability.
Congressman Donalds joined the discussion to highlight some new evidence of Biden family corruption that has been uncovered. Specifically, he mentioned a $200,000 check written by Jim Biden, Joe Biden’s brother, to Joe Biden in 2018. The House Oversight Committee has been unable to find any IRS records or loan documents confirming that this check was a ‘loan repayment.’
It was revealed that in 2018, Jim Biden received $600,000 in ‘loans’ from Americore Health LLC, a failing rural hospital operator. Bankruptcy documents indicated that Jim Biden received these loans based on the belief that his last name and political connections could secure a large Middle Eastern investment. On March 1, 2018, Americore Health LLC wired a $200,000 payment to Jim and Sara Biden’s personal bank account, and on the same day, Jim Biden wrote a $200,000 check to Joe Biden.
Congressman Donalds suggested that further investigation could uncover additional payments made on behalf of Joe Biden, where the money did not directly go to him but was spent on his behalf. He emphasized that the Oversight Committee is actively finding new evidence of Biden corruption every day.
In a tweet, Congressman Donalds expressed his concern about the stonewalling efforts by elements within the FBI and DOJ to cover up damning information related to the Biden family corruption. He asserted that these actions are not normal and highlighted the ongoing investigation by the GOP Oversight Committee, which continues to uncover new evidence.
