In a recent court ruling, a foreign leftist has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for attempting to assassinate the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. The individual in question, Pascale Cecile Veronique Ferrier, who holds dual citizenship in France and Canada, had mailed homemade ricin to President Trump. However, her plan was thwarted when the letter was intercepted at a mail screening facility before reaching its intended destination at the White House. Ferrier had also planned to mail eight more letters containing ricin to a group of Texas law enforcement officials.

Ricin, a highly-lethal poison that has been used in previous assassination attempts, has no known antidote. The severity of the situation was further underscored by the fact that Ferrier was arrested while attempting to cross into the United States from Canada with a small arsenal of weapons in her possession.

A notable aspect of this case is the lack of attention it has received from American corporate media. There has been a clear reluctance to highlight Ferrier’s actions as a politically-motivated assassination attempt against a sitting US President. This refusal to accurately label the incident may raise questions about media bias and the framing of news stories.

Ferrier pleaded guilty to charges related to biological weapons on January 25th, 2023, and was recently handed a sentence of nearly 22 years in federal prison. Once her sentence is completed, Ferrier will be deported from the United States and barred from re-entering the country. She will also be subject to supervised release for the remainder of her life.

During her court appearance, Ferrier displayed a complete absence of remorse, proclaiming herself to be an “activist, not a terrorist.” She went on to express her regret that her attempt to kill President Trump had failed, further emphasizing her dangerous intent and extremist beliefs.

In a statement to the court, Ferrier asserted, “I consider myself to be an activist, not a terrorist. Activists are constructive, terrorists are destructive.” This defiant declaration underscores the ideological motivation behind her actions and highlights the potential danger posed by radicalized individuals.

It is important to note that Ferrier is not the only individual to have attempted poisoning and murder against President Trump and other high-level American figures. There have been multiple instances of similar acts over the past few years. One such example occurred just over a month ago, when envelopes containing a “mysterious white powder” were intercepted en route to President Trump, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and several conservative legislators from Kansas.

Alarmingly, these incidents, including the Ferrier case, have largely been disregarded by corporate media outlets. There appears to be a deliberate choice to downplay or ignore left-wing biological assassination and terror attempts against President Trump and other Americans. This selective coverage raises concerns about the media’s commitment to providing unbiased and comprehensive news coverage.

In conclusion, the sentencing of Pascale Cecile Veronique Ferrier serves as a reminder of the dangers posed by radicalized individuals and the need for heightened vigilance in ensuring the safety of political leaders. The media’s reluctance to accurately report on such incidents only amplifies the urgency to address the underlying motivations and ideologies driving these acts of violence. As society strives for unity and stability, it is crucial to shed light on all forms of extremism, regardless of political affiliation.
