CREW, on the other hand, is currently leading an effort to remove President Trump from the 2024 Colorado ballot. Loomer shared a post written by McMullin in 2019, where he expressed his admiration for CREW’s work in fighting political corruption and his commitment to support the organization as a board member. Loomer captioned McMullin’s post by suggesting that CREW is violating its 501c3 status and operating as a political entity under the guise of charity.
Loomer’s tweet also revealed that several other prominent figures, including US Senator Claire McCaskill and Beth Nolan, are associated with CREW. Furthermore, it was discovered that the lawsuit filed in Colorado to prevent President Trump from appearing on the 2024 ballot was initiated by CREW in early September.
Various reports indicate that McMullin, a known never-Trumper, used his presidential run in 2016 to assist Hillary Clinton. With his background as a former CIA officer, his involvement with CREW and their attempt to remove Trump from the Colorado ballot comes as no surprise.
