Laura Loomer has recently exposed Evan McMullin’s association with Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW), revealing his role as a proud board member. McMullin, who ran as a third-party candidate in the 2016 election, allegedly used his candidacy to aid Hillary Clinton. CREW, on the other hand, is currently leading an effort to remove President Trump from the 2024 Colorado ballot. This initiative, according to NationalFile, is being funded by none other than George Soros, who is also supporting similar campaigns in Minnesota.
Loomer shared a post written by McMullin in 2019, where he expressed his admiration for CREW’s work in fighting political corruption and his commitment to support the organization as a board member. Loomer captioned McMullin’s post by suggesting that CREW is violating its 501c3 status and operating as a political entity under the guise of charity.
Loomer’s tweet also revealed that several other prominent figures, including US Senator Claire McCaskill and Beth Nolan, are associated with CREW. Furthermore, it was discovered that the lawsuit filed in Colorado to prevent President Trump from appearing on the 2024 ballot was initiated by CREW in early September.
Various reports indicate that McMullin, a known never-Trumper, used his presidential run in 2016 to assist Hillary Clinton. With his background as a former CIA officer, his involvement with CREW and their attempt to remove Trump from the Colorado ballot comes as no surprise. Influence Watch records cited by NationalFile reveal that CREW is funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. In fact, Laura Loomer even shared a video of CREW founder Melanie Sloan admitting to this funding source.
Given the significant resources behind the efforts to remove Trump from the ballot, it is anticipated that the Supreme Court of the United States may soon hear either the Colorado or Minnesota case and potentially issue an emergency ruling shortly thereafter. Typically, SCOTUS decisions are not announced until later in the year, around May.
As this critical legal battle unfolds, NationalFile promises to provide ongoing coverage. Stay tuned for the latest updates on this matter.
