PETITION: No Green Reset

Globalists are pushing for a green reset, attempting to manipulate the public into transitioning from fossil fuels to “green energy.” However, many people are opposed to this shift, finding it unnecessary, unwanted, and unacceptable. If you agree with this sentiment, we urge you to sign this petition. We currently have 26,169 signatures and our goal is to reach 30,000 signatures.

One resident in La Salle, Dalbir Bala, recently shared his regrets about purchasing an electric truck earlier this year. While on a business trip to Wisconsin and Illinois, Bala faced numerous difficulties with his 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat. Despite purchasing the vehicle with an extended-range battery and installing chargers at his home and trucking firm, he was forced to abandon the truck and rent a gas-powered vehicle due to unsuccessful charges at charging stations in Minnesota.

Bala’s experience highlights one of the challenges with electric vehicles (EVs) – their limited range in freezing temperatures. A recent study revealed that EVs could lose up to 30% of their range in such conditions, potentially jeopardizing the Trudeau Liberals’ goal of having all new vehicles sold in Canada be EVs by 2035.

Interestingly, Bala had to pay $56 to charge his truck’s battery in Fargo, North Dakota, from 10% to 90%, despite Ford claiming a battery range of 515 kilometers. The difficulties Bala faced at charging stations in Minnesota remain unclear, with conflicting statements from different sources. Ford has acknowledged the need to improve access to charging for their customers and is working to expand their charging network.

Another Manitoba resident, Roman Briones, also expressed frustrations with the lack of charging stations and infrastructure along northern highways. He shared his experience of a prolonged eight-hour trip to nearly 30 hours due to the absence of charging stations. Briones had to rent a cabin overnight to charge his Tesla at a nearby trucking business.

The lack of charging infrastructure in certain areas has left residents like Briones feeling stranded and unable to travel long distances without relying on flights or buses. This limitation greatly hinders their mobility and ability to visit family and friends in other locations.

In Manitoba, efforts have been made to increase the number of charging stations available. The Manitoba Electric Vehicle Association reports that there are over 80 Level 3 chargers and around 180 Level 2 chargers in the province. The number of EVs and pickup trucks registered in Manitoba has also increased significantly in recent years.

While the push for green energy is well-intentioned, it is essential to address the challenges and limitations that come with the transition to electric vehicles. Adequate charging infrastructure and improved battery technology are crucial for the widespread adoption of EVs. It is also important to consider the needs and concerns of residents who rely on vehicles for their daily lives.

In conclusion, the green reset being pushed by globalists has faced opposition from individuals like Dalbir Bala and Roman Briones, who have experienced firsthand the challenges with electric vehicles and the lack of charging infrastructure. As the world moves towards a greener future, it is vital to find solutions that address these concerns and ensure a smooth transition for all. If you share these concerns, we urge you to sign the petition and make your voice heard.
