A Republican State Representative in Michigan was stripped of his committee assignment and staff on Monday after acknowledging the migrant crisis’ effect on American demographics.

State Rep. Josh Schriver (R-Oxford) quote-posted a map of the world with White people becoming the minority, along with the phrase, “The great replacement!” The original post came from the Senior Editor at Human Events, Jack Posobeic.

House Speaker Joe Tate, a disgruntled black Detroit Democrat, said in a statement:

I will not allow the Michigan House of Representatives to be a forum for the proliferation of racist, hateful and bigoted speech. … The House of Representatives is the people’s house, and all Michiganders should look upon this body and take price in how we conduct ourselves. It is also a workplace, and I have a responsibility to make sure the employees of the House feel safe and secure.

Celebrator of “Black History Month” state Rep. Tate told outlets that Schriver, a fierce Christian, had “a history of promoting debunked theories and dangerous rhetoric.” He also mentioned speaking out against Schriver’s free speech on social media.

According to Fox2Detroit, Schriver reposted the controversial Tweet on Feb. 6, and it appears he has not taken it down. He even added a rebuttal to the false assertions.

It really doesn’t matter if he removes the post, as Fox reported Tate plans to remove Schriver from the House Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation Committee. The House Business Office will also withhold the lawmaker’s resources.

Schriver will still be allowed to vote in the House. However, it remains unclear how the post is “racist” or “bigoted” since chain migration has led to clear demographic changes in Western nations, according to the Migration Policy Institute (MPI).

Many of the media outlets reporting on this so-called scandal have referenced the Southern Poverty Law Center. The local affiliate network reported that “the great replacement” is “a racist conspiracy narrative that falsely asserts there is an active and covert effort to replace white populations in current white-majority countries.”

The SPLC has condemned and connected “the great replacement” to many former Trump advisors, Tucker Carlson, former President Calvin Coolidge, White Christians and several immigration monitoring NGOs. The Southern Poverty Law Center puts all of these individuals and organizations as aligned with White mass shooters and Nazi ideology. The nonprofit also claims this “modern racist conspiracy” to have “European roots.”

The concept of “the great replacement” is evidenced by the aforementioned statistics and does not rely on National Socialism or identitarianism. The stigmatization of fact has become enumerably abundant in today’s liberalism. A fine example is any critique of crime stats.

Such “cancel culture” is a means to eliminate discussion of the true problems facing the nation. And it appears to be very effective, even on the Right.
