There have been numerous allegations of pay-to-play actions between the two. As they enjoyed the benefits of their dubious acts, many Americans continued to suffer from rising inflation.
Pelosi likely never anticipated the current situation. Even she couldn’t have predicted how bold and foolish President Biden would be, especially considering the involvement of his unpredictable son. Hunter’s vices and behavior have compromised the Biden re-election campaign and the overall Democratic ticket.
Unsurprisingly, panic has set in among the Democrats. Vice President Kamala Harris could potentially assume the presidential role if the impeachment occurs. Losing the White House to the Republicans would be a significant setback for the Democrats and their agenda.
Pelosi didn’t consider these consequences when she devised the plan to impeach Trump. Her intentions were purely political, aimed at building support among vulnerable members of her party and possibly gaining a few Republican votes to make the inquiry bipartisan. Unfortunately for her, that plan failed.
