This led to the identification of the suspect approximately two hours after the initial shooting. Seventeen minutes later, in the Richmond Hill area of Queens, an 87-year-old man was shot multiple times and tragically succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
Shortly following the second shooting in Queens, witnesses observed the scooter-riding gunman firing indiscriminately into a group of people; fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident. Eight minutes later, a 44-year-old man was shot in the face and rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in critical condition. Approximately one minute after that, a 63-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the torso and was listed in stable condition at a hospital.
The community has been left shocked and shaken by this series of tragic events. Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
