According to recent polling data from the 2024 GOP Primary conducted at the Turning Point Action Conference, it appears that Ron DeSantis is facing a decline in popularity among young Republican voters. The poll, which included participants from the conference, revealed that DeSantis not only trailed behind former President Donald Trump but also a long-shot candidate named Perry Johnson.

The results of the poll clearly demonstrated the strong support that Trump still enjoys within the Republican Party. Trump secured a staggering 87% of the total vote, leaving his competitors far behind. Perry Johnson emerged as a surprise contender with 7.8% of the vote, followed by DeSantis at 4.3% and Vivek Ramaswamy at 2%. Notably, other prominent figures such as Tim Scott, Nikki Haley, and Chris Christie received a disappointing 0% of the vote.

This outcome reflects a growing sentiment among young GOP voters who desire a full embrace of the “America First” policy within the party. These voters have observed what they perceive as a decline in the country’s prosperity and freedom since the 1990s, replaced by poverty and censorship in the 2020s. They hold the belief that globalist politicians are solely responsible for America’s deterioration and see Trump as the only candidate advocating for their values.

Interestingly, the poll reveals that young GOP voters are the most critical and discerning voting bloc within the Republican Party. Supporters of DeSantis, who have aligned themselves firmly with globalist ideologies, had hoped to undermine Trump’s popularity by converting Fox News into a pro-DeSantis network and bombarding the masses with favorable news about the Florida governor.

However, this strategy has had limited success, particularly among young GOP voters. Despite Fox News having high viewership ratings within the 25 to 40-year-old demographic during Tucker Carlson’s tenure, the departure of Tucker from the network has caused a significant decline in young GOP viewership. Consequently, Fox News has experienced a severe drop in ratings, making it ineffective for DeSantis to rely on for bolstering his polling numbers.

Moreover, it appears that DeSantis’ efforts to conceal his globalist policies have been unsuccessful in persuading young GOP voters. These voters are highly discerning and unwilling to accept anything at face value. They are conducting their own research and have quickly dismissed DeSantis as nothing more than a tool driven by globalist interests. Consequently, the political future of DeSantis seems uncertain and tenuous, as young GOP voters are known to be unforgiving towards dishonest politicians.

In conclusion, the recent polling data from the Turning Point Action Conference paints a troubled picture for Ron DeSantis. The results indicate a decline in support among young GOP voters, with both Trump and an unexpected candidate named Perry Johnson seemingly surpassing him in popularity. These findings highlight the deep-rooted desire within young Republican voters for an America First agenda and their rejection of globalist politics. DeSantis’ attempts to camouflage his globalist policies have largely failed to sway young voters who have actively researched his political positions, branding him as a globalist tool. The uncertainty surrounding DeSantis’ political future underscores the importance of capturing the support of young GOP voters in shaping the Republican Party’s trajectory.
