On Saturday, Armistice Day, duelling protests were set to take place in London, England. Anti-Israel demonstrators planned a protest, while others intended to defend British war memorials from desecration. The Police were concerned about the potential for vandalism and violence in the streets of London, particularly as the day turned into night and younger, more hotheaded demonstrators remained.

Alexa Lavoie of Rebel News discussed the police’s concerns and the potential for violence to break out during the protests. She highlighted that while the protests during the day may remain relatively calm, there is a worry about what will happen at night once older protesters leave and younger individuals, more likely to be confrontational, remain. With official Remembrance Day memorials scheduled for the following day, the Metropolitan police were unsure whether they would be equipped to handle large crowds protesting against Israel.

Due to safety concerns, Alexa was traveling with two security guards to ensure her personal safety while covering the protests, as they could quickly turn violent. She will be reporting live from London, providing updates on the situation as it unfolds. To follow along with Alexa’s reporting from London and contribute to the costs of their news coverage, audiences were directed to visit BattleForLondon.com.

Rebel News has been involved in raising awareness and support for various causes, and their coverage relies on contributions from their audience. The news platform has sponsored billboard trucks to drive around major cities in the United States and Canada, advocating for the deportation of non-citizens, including foreigners on student visas, who were supporting Hamas hate rallies. To cover the rental and logistics costs, as well as hiring security guards to protect the billboard trucks and their reporters from potential attacks by radical pro-Hamas agitators, Rebel News was encouraging donations.

The fundraising efforts were not limited to online donations, as there were options for E-transfer in Canada to an email address provided by Rebel News. Additionally, individuals could contribute through cheque payments made out to Rebel News Network Ltd. or through cryptocurrency, providing multiple avenues for supporters to contribute to the cause.

This coverage provides only a glimpse into The Ezra Levant Show. To see new, ad-free episodes airing Monday to Friday at 8 p.m. ET | 6 p.m. MT, individuals were prompted to become subscribers to RebelNews+. The episode originally aired on November 10, 2023.

In summary, Rebel News was actively involved in covering the anticipated protests in London, England, safeguarding their reporters through security measures, and seeking financial support to continue their reporting and campaigns advocating for various causes. The news platform relied on its audience’s contributions to fund their initiatives and provide comprehensive coverage of important events and issues.
