Australia to have its first Prime Minister elected with a swing against him, and both major parties – fake independents to get Labor across the line.
Australia looks to have its first Prime Minister in Anthony Albanese elected, despite swings against both major parties
Fake Independents, i.e. those that are really Greens and Labor, but funded to run as Independents, as a strategy to reduce the freedom movement and minor parties potential to hold a balance of power, and to ensure the Coalition couldn’t win are likely to be enough to allow Labor to form a minority Government.
What’s clear about the election results is that both major parties are on the nose, a massive swing as expected against the coalition but also one against Labor too.
But despite swings against both major parties, Labor will most likely be able to form Government, a first for a Prime Minister to win with a swing against them.
In the Senate, the freedom parties could do well.
