Gatecrasher’s ‘Tough Question’ For Albanese
By 10 News First Perth
Anthony Albanese and Mark McGowan both passed up the chance to answer a gatecrasher’s “tough question” during their joint press conference earlier today.
The gatecrasher stood with the journalists and told the group he was “not a media person” but he had a “tough question” if the leader of the opposition was up for it.
Albanese said he was “absolutely up for it” but couldn’t take the man’s question now, but he would take the man’s question after the press conference.
Here’s what others had to say:

Not much of an alternative is it, prefers to answer the pre scripted questions…..
We need a total clean out at Canberra, this system of lies and deception is a disgrace.

See thats the problem with politics and politicians, there there for the people and to listen to the people NOT the media alone .
Some media are set up to say certain questions for the politicians and that’s why they hate talking to the public one one one without giving an honest answer.

I think two gentlmen of such stature working for the tax payer should of handled this alot better than brushing the man off!
We are infact paying your wage!

He is obviously a great fan of that obfuscating politician called Joe Biden.
So who is going to lead the Labor Party if the current person cannot answer a question from the public OMG.
Pauline Thatcher
Seriously how can Australians vote for Albanese to run the country. He is too weak. That was a fair, simple question to ask of him and he quickly side stepped it. Lol. What a joke! I think we got the answer there and then No he isn’t up for it.!
Chris Dutton
Neither would win a school debate if they can’t answer unscripted questions. If it wasn’t the premier of WA and the next Prime Minister of Australia this would actually be funny. Disgrace!
Sharmon Saggus
Funny how they Scatter when the questions Aren’t Rehearsed!
Just goes to show, they have Zero tolerance to the Public!!
James Ryan
They ans to the people not the press, no matter the setting.
Something was out of script and they got scared.

He lacks tenacity and is a terrible public speaker. Australia would become an even bigger global joke and laughing stock under a Labor federal government.
Please wake up people!! They’re hiding something BIG!

Clearly neither of them remember who they work for? If they’re not there to represent the people then what in the bloody hell are they doing there? How gutless!! Couldn’t even take a question from one of your constituents and you’re the one going for the leadership of the country. What a bloody joke. This goes to show how absolutely scripted these press conferences are.
Phil Anning
They didnt want to answer the mans question as all the questions asked by the media were probadly orchestrated and the politicians would no have an answer. The other thing is politicians are not in politics to represent the people they in politics to line their own pockets.
Jackie Lewis
Neither leader was up for the question. Off script and it gets shut down. Terrible leadership from both of them..
Brian Donaldson
I dont understand?? Someone please feel free to bring me up to speed but if these pollies want to be elected in a democratic country why do they just take questions from journalists? If the person is an Australian citizen why cant he be allowed to ask the question?
Donna Lucas
Typical can’t talk about what concerns we the people have. We only get dictated to and have mandates put on us.
Very poor performance Labor
