And of course, they will pull every lever that they can in the United States and Europe with people who are sympathetic to themselves. They will do everything they can to disrupt the peace process.”

Alexander is 100% correct. It takes time for dissent to grow. It took time during the Vietnam War for the anti-war movement to grow. Once the soldier started to return and tell the truth and joined in the protests, the anti-war movement really escalated. The media was also more honest then, than it is now.
