MSNBC Contributor Joins Ukrainian Foreign Legion
MSNBC analyst and former US Navy officer Malcolm Nance has announced that he’s joined the International Legion of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense fighting against the Russian military.
“I spent quite a bit of time here in the pre-war period,” Nance said, while speaking to MSNBC in full combat gear, apparently near the frontlines. The pundit who has an intelligence background revealed that he had “pre-war friends” in the Ukrainian military, who were graduates of the US Defense Language Institute.
Many online commended Nance for enlisting, while others skeptically mocked his decision – calling for more news panelists to join the war effort, to get them out of the media.
