‘Naïve’ to Think Russia Will Lose the War, Says Dr Jordan Peterson
By Sky News Australia
Notions that the Russians are going to lose the war in Ukraine are “naïve,” says clinical psychologist Dr Jordan Peterson.
“Or that we’re going to win,” he said.
“I don’t understand that. What do you mean we’re going to win? What are we going to win here exactly?
Dr Peterson said even if Vladimir Putin allowed Russia to retreat from Ukraine, the country would be left in “smoking ruins”.

Thankful that Piers finally knows that an interview necessitates letting people talk.

piers really coming through, letting peterson speak and actually finish his points and even expanding on them makes for a very enjoyable watch.

Piers Morgan making a comeback and you can tell he found a place where he doesn’t have to have a narrative like the other news media he worked for in the past.

Isn’t he just saying the best-case scenario is that Putin withdraws but Ukraine is in ruins, and that he’d not call that a victory for those against Putin? Depending on the circumstances of the withdrawal and the extent of the ruin, I think it could still easily be viewed as a victory by most people.

Russia may not lose the war, but imagine how many more people who hit rock bottom there will be globally? Not only in Russia and Ukraine, the consequences will be felt all over. It’s sad to see a family to be torn apart because of political games. My grandfather is Ukrainian, grandmother and mother are Russian. The entire situation starting from February 24th just.. made me an emptier, a lot more hopeless person now. And I keep losing what’s left of hope everyday.

I lived in two wars. There is no such thing as winning or having any type of victory, regardless of what side you’re on.

Having the capacity to commit evil acts is a vastly different animal rather than actually commiting them and Jordan knows that.

“There is a bit of Hitler and Stalin in each of us.” so true. Throw rocks if you never done any evil action in your entire life.

Never seen Piers Morgan taken so a back. Like a person who has lived all his life believing ‘we are right, and therefore we will win again of course – right?..”

Thanks Dr. Jordan Peterson. You are straight to the points. Truth and balance. This is not a joke, some people haven’t seen the coffin and yet no tears drop. This is not fair for the young generation.

The true horror of the holocaust is not ” look what those awful people did.” It’s ” look what the human heart is capable of.” I’m so glad that we have Dr. Peterson.

This is a man that has seen evil up close only someone who has can understand such a thing 10 years ago I wouldn’t have thought that people could be so just evil but now I totally agree.

Interesting….who will be defined the victor and what does victory look like to each of us. How saving face plays into wars becoming unending and how did each of us think this will end. From the saving face aspect, simply leaving the entire of Ukraine in smoke and ruins may very well become the definition of victory in this war. That outcome may be resolution enough to justify any one of the many reasons Russian civilians believed the “special military operation” was a necessary. The narrative that that Russian had concern NATO’s eastward expansion, that the Ukraine is committing genocide against ethnic Russians, Putin’s claim that the Ukraine isn’t a real country, concerns over Ukraine harbouring nuclear weapons, and that this is a step to Russia rebuilding it’s empire (USSR). Putin has given his people lots to choose from….pick the one(s) you believe in and that will certainly justify the action.

If ukraine is left in ruins it isnt “out of western hands” in fact, its gonna be more in western hands than it would have been without the invasion, because at this point the west will likely help rebuild ukraine, at which point the west will have a powerful ally on the border with russia. Whose millitary has real world experience fighting russia and an incredible hatred towards russia as well. Not to mention all the nato troops that would end up there. I dont exactly see how that is a russian victory.
