Seeing people selling stuff either in shops or out in street markets with the whole “100% of profits go to Ukraine” still, even after our country has already sent billions over there, and yet we have booming homeless populations in our own country they refuse to handle.

Last night, England played Ukraine in a football match at Wembley. It seemed surreal that footballers could be playing an ‘important’ match while their country faces destruction. It felt as though the whole thing is staged for TV and the multiple celebrity photo shoots with Zelensky and his award of an Oscar reinforce that feeling. It’s as though they are playing with us and have so much contempt for us that they are rubbing it in our faces. Is anything real?
