Stumbling into World War 3: The US and Germany Agree to Send Battle Tanks to Ukraine

The only way for these tanks to be used effectively is with NATO tank crews. You don’t just hand over the keys to a tank and say have at it.
It takes months if not years to learn how to operate and be combat effective.
And for the M1 Abrams that means 4 crew members, the tank commander being the most experienced. And tanks require constant maintenance, especially the Abrams, so that means training repair crews and parts.
Reading between the lines what these Deep State swamp creatures are saying is that NATO tank crews will roll into battle against Russia.
And that means World War Three.

Scholz greenlighted tank transfers from other countries and Germany also is sending tanks to the Ukraine.
This is a huge virtue signal.
Of course it might help a little bit, but tanks don’t make a difference in this war.
When is the last time you’ve even seen tanks doing anything from either side?

Germany is said to have decided to supply at least 14 Leopard 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine. In addition, the government allows other countries to make their own deliveries.

Strack-Zimmermann: Decision was “inevitable”
The chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Christian Dürr, praises the decision of the Chancellery. “Today the Chancellor made a decision that no one took lightly. The fact that Germany will support Ukraine with the Leopard tank is a strong sign of solidarity,” Dürr told t-online.
“We must always be aware that Ukraine is not only defending itself, but also the values and beliefs that we share. It is therefore right that we support Kiev with all our might,” Dürr continued.
His party colleague and chair of the defense committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, said the decision was tough and took far too long, but was ultimately “inevitable”. It is “redeeming news for the battered and brave Ukrainian people”.
The deputy chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Bundestag, Thomas Erndl (CSU), made a similar statement. The step was “inevitable”. With regard to Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), he criticized: “As with all previous commitments, this decision was only made under maximum external pressure.” Scholz’s “massive decision-making weakness” caused an enormous loss of confidence in Europe and the USA .
Leopard is used by many armies

Other countries could supply tanks

Spain also announced in the summer that it might be possible to sell older Leopard tanks. But that is no longer an issue, said Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares recently at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
USA considers delivery of Abrams tanks
But the delivery of other types of tanks is currently being discussed. According to media reports, the US government is considering supplying Abrams main battle tanks to Ukraine.
