The Times radio showed footage from the UK houses of Parliament where the junior defence minister was addressing the house of commons. They were pleased to hear that the Aavdiivka offensive was a minor operation and the Ukrainians were using it to suck in Russian forces while they concentrade on their, “counteroffensive” which is, “gaining ground” and had gained 10 miles since the beginning. They applauded…10 miles in 4 months, 5 months? If the Russians had moved 10 miles in 4 or 5 months with the sort of losses Ukraine has taken, they would’ve been jeered, laughed at and so on. Oh, and the Russians have taken 150-170,000 dead, with double that wounded, apparently. The Ukrainians, no word on their losses, of course. When will the Ukrainian military overthrow the criminals in charge of things and make peace?
Lying in front of Parliament used to be a serious issue.

That light artillery system is actually a recoilless anti-tank gun… ancient history, at least three decades since it has been decommissioned by most armies around the world…

How must the Ukrainian military feel if it loses the most heavily fortified cities? The best NATO reconnaissance, the best NATO equipment, the best Ukrainian soldiers and all of that is still not enough. Ukraine is fighting well and with all its might, but the Russians are the Russians and have 50 times as much of everything. So many soldiers die every day on both sides and I wonder how many Ukrainian soldiers are left? Russia won’t stop. Russia has survived the terrible disaster at the beginning of the war, the sanctions, the Wagner uprising, the Ukrainian counteroffensive and they will survive everything else.

Claiming to have inflicted “heavy losses” to the RF that successully captured the “Terikon” strategic heights is simply a way for the AFU to cope with their heavy emotional damage.

It is surprising in the video whereas so many Ukrainian soldiers did not have weapons but also any military gears on them. They looked like civilians running away from bombardment.

The biggest advantage of the new italmas is probably it’s significantly longer range in combination with how much more powerful it’s explosive mass is.

Thank you for your update. Russia is going forward from victory to victory and Ukraine is going back from defeat to defeat. God is fighting with Russia for her victory and God is fighting against Ukraine for their defeat. All glory to God. A great loss of men and sorrow for the women and children of Ukraine.

The gun you didnt know what it was on Ukraine side is M40 recoiless and smokeless smooth bore gun 105 mm . The 105 mm projectile is fired by gas cartridge , it has no recoil and no smoke . It was very popular during Yugoslav wars becase its light weight , easily transportable in mountain regions and is easily hidden with smokeless firing . It has very short effective range of 1.5 km and max range of 6 km because its gas cartridge propelant . Primarily used by diversion mountain special units because it has -17 degrees to + 27 degrees elevation , meaning it can shoot from top of the mountain down at negative elevation at point blank range . The fact that Ukraine is using it in this settings tells a very bad situation with supplies of adequate artillery pieces. It was 1st produced in 1955 , has very rudimentary aiming and no optics because its short range – you point and you shoot.
