I relly liked Craig Kelly, but have never been convinced by Palmer. This video says it all. Sadly Clive Palmer looks to be as dishonest as the leaders of the major political parties. I’ll be standing with the true freedom friendly independents.

UAP has consistently said that you should choose your own preferences, and to put LNP, Greens and Labor as the bottom 3. I don’t think it’s relevent at all what their how to vote cards suggest. I’m voting 1 for One Nation but I’ll include UAP in my top 3.

Don’t let anyone tell you how to preference your ballot sheet. You control where your preferences go, not the party you number at one. You select who you want, in order of your choice, where your vote goes.

I used to be a lefty. More than 40 years ago, an anarchist, then a Greenie. In fact, I was there at the beginning of the formation of the national Greens…but I grew up and over a period of time, I turned against the left and now consider myself a conservative with a belief in a small govt. People change. I’d prefer to give Clive the benefit of the doubt but I will tell you one thing, we can bleat about this freedom party or that freedom party, at the end of the day, there are only 6 lower house candidates in my seat. One Nation, UAP, Nationals, Labor, Greens, and Climate 200. Today I voted 1 for ON both in the upper and the lower, In the lower I voted 2, UAP. Now, I want one of you anti-UAP people to explain to me, how it would be possible for me to put the Nationals, Labor, the Greens, and Climate 200 in front of the UAP? In the upper, I voted 2 for the LDP, (and very happy too). It is really simple, for everyone who complains about this freedom party or that freedom party, how many of you are actually out there getting involved in these parties at the grassroots level? This is where the left is way ahead of us. Time to put up and stop leaving it up to others, so you can then turn around and complain about it. That’s how politics has operated throughout this country for my entire life, and now we wonder why we are in the poo.
