“They Have No Chance” – Military Expert Predicts Ukraine is Doomed
By Valuetainment
In this short clip, Col. Douglas MacGregor PBD and Tom discuss why McGregor Predicts Ukraine is Doomed.
Here’s what others had to say:
@Chris-vx5kp
7:17 “There are only three branches of government right now: Black Rock, Raytheon, and Pharmaceuticals.” This is one of the most accurate explanations of why things are so messed up right now.

The United States, more so than EVER before, need someone like Admiral McCraven or Jocko Willink to take command……real leaders who understand the concept of humility and take extreme ownership of their actions. I recall Jocko stating the following: “Everything wrong in your life is YOUR fault!” Once leadership commences with this indisputable matter of fact, progress is inevitable.

It’s pretty crazy to think about what the US knew at the time they announced the “open door” policy regarding Ukraine (and Georgia) in NATO.
1) It wasn’t popular among Ukrainians. The WaPo has been tracking the issue for a long time, and by 2013, only 20-something percent of Ukrainians wanted to join.
2) Russia was threatening/warning in clear and unambiguous terms that this would very likely result in a civil war inside Ukraine followed by a “military intervention” (i.e. invasion) by Russia. This is why former German Chancellor Merkel opposed the original proposal to officially invite Ukraine in, stating that “Putin would see this as a declaration of war.”
3) Ukraine was especially vulnerable after the announcement, as Russia’s interpretation of the announcement of the open-door policy signaled a very serious national security concern, and Ukraine was stuck in limbo with no Article 5 protection.
4) The US could not back down once on this path. Washington logic (regardless of what we think of it) views backing away from the open door policy not as a reasonable compromise to keep the peace, but as losing to Russia.
5) We could not fully come to Ukraine’s aid if Russia made good on their threats. A full-on US-Russian war is unacceptable to Washington for very good and sane reasons (nuclear winter anyone)? So there would be no American troops fighting to save Ukraine. Furthermore, Ukraine would not be provided the most high-tech, top of the line military equipment for various reasons, including corruption in Ukraine, possible Russian capture of technology on the battlefield, and training time.
In short, the US plowed ahead with a policy they were told in clear terms would be dangerous to Ukraine despite Ukrainians not wanting it, knowing full-well that they had no exit strategy and no way to fully defend Ukraine. Calling this policy wildly reckless, negligent and irresponsible doesn’t even begin to describe it.

This is honestly amazing to me and makes me re-think about what actually happened in each large scale war from the past.
Both sides literally say yhe opposite of each other. As a spectator how can both Ukraine and Russia be ” winning the war” very confusing and just shows the world how much large scale propaganda is still used everyday by the world’s governments.

Thanks Patrick for having the colonel on…if only the US had people like this man making policy in government, the world would surely be a safer better place for everyone.
America could be still the greatest nation on earth if only the powerful elites didn’t sell their souls so easily.
The policy makers in the US have 2 choices at the end of the day either make the nation great through good cooperation with other nations or make their bank accounts bigger..sadly most of them choose the later.

7:14 This guy should run for POTUS. Completely upfront and center of a conversation. Clear and concise. This guy has so much clarity it’s admirable.

Thank you for giving this man a wider platform. I’ve been listening to him now for over a year, and he’s one of the very few voices who speaks reason, not hatred, when discussing Russia and its interests.
@vladsoko4995
Most concise, direct and truthful explanation of what has and is going on in Ukraine you will find anywhere! Thank you for that. On a side note, from the shocked looks, early on, by the two interviewers and how easily McGregor deflected their counter arguments, I think they realized they were dealing with a heavyweight and just mostly sat and took it. In their defense, like NATO, they didn’t have much ammunition either.
