Joining NATO does not equal installation of offensive weapons. It is defensive, not offensive Alliance.
In fact, there is no piece of the offensive weapon on the territory of a new member’s states. The only installations are part of the Western missile defense system.
For instance, Russia in Kaliningrad has deployed nuclear missiles (Iskander-M).
Ukrainians did not want any military installations, it was the Kremlin’s narrative.
They wanted to be covered with that missile defense system to prevent situations like the current one.
Nobody wants to invade Russia, but the reverse, unfortunately, has been true – at least as a narrative in Kremlin-controlled media and among their foreign policy community.

If Russia ever sends troops, and lethal weapons to Mexico, or Canada, and aggressively threatens the US, and then tries to spin it, that the US is the aggressor – let me know, and I’ll be equally suggesting it’s nonsense to suggest its the US, that somehow is the aggressor.
But as we all know, that’s not going to happen.
And if you think Biden, somehow is a more intelligent and successful leader than Putin, then who do you think would win in a debate? – Or better still, can actually string more than 2 sentences together?
Have you ever even watched a Putin interview?
Or only listen to western propaganda about him and Russia stuck in “it’s still the Cold War era”
