Scott Morrison, The Australian reports the ABC has made a “rare editorial decision” to not broadcast live Clive Palmer’s address at the National Press Club in Canberra on Tuesday, see ‘The ABC’s shock Clive Palmer ban’. (Copy attached)[1] (There may have been plans to not broadcast Clive Palmer’s address at all on the ABC, was there a hurried decision to broadcast it with a 90 minute delay on the ABC News channel?)
What is behind this ‘rare editorial decision’ Scott Morrison? Has your government had any hand in interfering with this National Press Club broadcast with Clive Palmer?
Is this another example of the Morrison government attempting to suppress an individual who refuses the Covid-19 jabs?
According to The Australian, the taxpayer-funded ABC decided not to air Clive Palmer’s National Press Club address live because “Aunty is understood to feel it would be irresponsible to propagate his jab stance on national television”. Apparently dissenters at the National Press Club were also “adamant that Palmer shouldn’t be given a platform to deliver his controversial views about vaccines”.[1]
It seems Clive Palmer’s jab stance is that “he and his family would not be vaccinated because he would “not give in to tyranny”. The Australian reports that “Palmer has been one of the most vocal critics of vaccine mandates, picking fights with various premiers over the issue”. (It’s notable too that The Australian censored my comment on its article about Clive Palmer, censorship of subscribers is par for the course at The Australian in my experience.)
Scott Morrison, is your government orchestrating a campaign to cancel anyone who refuses the Covid-19 jabs?
Another example is tennis star Novak Djokovic, who was banished from Australia by Immigration Minister Alex Hawke, because he is “a high profile unvaccinated individual who has indicated publicly that he is opposed to becoming vaccinated against COVID-19”, a stance which Immigration Minister Alex Hawke describes as being ‘anti-vaccination’. Novak Djokovic is regarded as being ‘anti-vaccination’ because he “has previously stated that he ‘wouldn’t want to be forced by someone to take a vaccine’ to travel or compete in tournaments”. For being an individual wanting to retain his bodily autonomy, Immigration Minister Alex Hawke considered the presence of Novak Djokovic “may be a risk to the health of the Australian community”[2], presumably as Djokovic might inspire Australians to make their own informed decision about the Covid-19 jabs, counter to government diktats.
Scott Morrison, what does the antagonism against Novak Djokovic and Clive Palmer for their stance in refusing Covid-19 jabs mean for critical thinking Australians, who have similarly made their own informed decision to refuse to consent to Covid-19 jabs that don’t prevent infection nor transmission, injections which purportedly provide questionable ‘protection’ of very limited duration, against a disease it was known from the beginning wasn’t a serious threat to most people?
Djokovic and Palmer are just the tip of the iceberg, with many other people in Australia now being discriminated against and marginalised, with many losing their livelihoods, and participation in civil society, because they refuse to submit to the obviously defective Covid-19 jabs.
Scott Morrison, you know your government’s Covid-19 jab rollout is conflicting with the obligation to obtain valid voluntary consent before vaccination, as detailed in The Australian Immunisation Handbook[3], but you have stood by while millions of Australians are being coerced and manipulated into submitting to defective Covid-19 jabs under state government and business/employer mandates, and mandates by other organisations such as hospitality, theatres, football and golf clubs etc.
What is the basis for the grossly disproportionate and ill-targeted Covid-19 response and Covid-19 jab mandates, just how serious is Covid-19?
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has recently released Covid-19 mortality figures for the past nearly two years. [4] Up to 31 January 2022, only 2,639 deaths where people died with or from COVID-19 have been reported, with the median age for those who died from COVID-19 being 83.7 years (81.2 years for males, 86.0 years for females). This figure of 2,639 deaths with or from COVID-19 is just 1% of the 273,901 death registrations received by the ABS over the pandemic period of nearly two years. Chronic cardiac conditions were the most common pre-existing condition for those who had COVID-19 certified as the underlying cause of death. It’s notable that 1,557 of the deaths, 60.9% of the total, occurred in Victoria, the state which had the most hysterical and draconian response to Covid-19, this bears closer investigation.
How do the ABS mortality figures sit with all the constant fear-mongering from state chief health officers and premiers and mainstream media for the past nearly two years, including about all the ‘unvaccinated’ in ICU etc?
How does this sit with the entire Australian population aged five years and over being pressed to have multiple Covid-19 injections, with millions being mandated to have the jabs to maintain their livelihoods, i.e. No Jab, No Job?
The taxpayer-funded ABC should be providing critical analysis of this matter, why isn’t this happening? Instead, the ABC is the Morrison government’s propaganda machine, promoting the jabs without question.
Scott Morrison, the lack of valid voluntary consent before the Covid-19 jabs is shaping up to be a massive scandal, along with the discrimination and injustice being meted out to critical thinking Australians who justifiably refuse the defective Covid-19 jabs.
